Mike's Taos Home Page

We first arrived in Taos in August of 1989.  We found that we liked the climate and the people.  After spending increasing amounts of time visiting Taos we discovered that a house that we had admired was for sale.  We bought it in April of 1993.  For the next eight years we spent about twenty-five percent of our time in Taos.  After the company that I had founded in August of 2001 we began spending increasing amounts of time in Taos.  The following is some information on Taos that is focused towards visitors to Taos.

Where we eat in Taos

• Sabroso (our restaurant) -- what can we say?  We're biased.  But we believe that Sabroso offers the best wood-grilled steaks, the best wood-grilled fish, and the best margaritas in Taos.
• The Taos Trading Post
• Stray Dog Cantina.The new owners have done a good job of improving the menu without discarding old favorites.. New items we particular enjoy include the seared ahi fish tacos and frito pie.
